The Flexible Ale Extractor Body (also called a Broach or Shank) connects your cask to the dispense line. It's essential equipment for any pub, bar or brewery serving cask ale, and we recommend having at least one spare so you can tap the next barrel while the current one settles.

Vertical cask storage with a flexible extractor uses significantly less cellar space than traditional lay-down methods – you can typically store two firkins vertically in the space of one horizontal cask. Comes with a blanking plug to protect the thread when not in use.
