Bar in a Box is a self-service product delivered by pallet courier — not a small parcel. It's brilliant for the right venue, but it isn't for every event. Please check the four points below before you book.
The bar arrives on a full-size pallet delivered by HGV pallet courier. Your address must be accessible by a large lorry. No narrow lanes, weight-restricted roads, or low bridges.
The crate weighs roughly 250kg and stands around 2 metres tall. The courier will drop it kerbside on a pallet truck — once it's down, you won't be able to move it manually.
The pallet crate needs to stay in place for the duration of your hire — typically driveway, courtyard, side gate, or venue loading area. Somewhere secure and out of public access. A waterproof cover is included with every delivery.
After your event, repack the bar into the pallet crate. Our courier collects the next working day (Mon–Fri). The crate must be accessible and in the same spot it was delivered. Lost or damaged crates are charged to your deposit.
Bar in a Box scales naturally — book one for a garden party of fifty, or pair two up for a barn wedding of two hundred. Same delivery, same setup, no extra staff.

Standard hire is the day before your event through to the next working day after — typically Friday delivery, Monday collection. Need it longer? Add extra days in the configurator at £50 / day.
Yes — we deliver nationwide UK. Some remote postcodes (Scottish Highlands, NI, islands) may incur an additional courier surcharge — we'll let you know at reservation if so.
Every delivery includes a heavy-duty waterproof cover for the bar and pallet crate, so overnight storage outside is no problem. The bar itself is built for outdoor use.
Fair wear and tear is on us. Damage caused by misuse, loss of the pallet crate, or serious damage to the bar itself is deducted from your £199 deposit. Anything beyond the deposit value will be invoiced separately.
Yes. Reschedules are free up to 14 days before delivery. Cancellation refund policy depends on how close to the event — full terms on the Refunds page.
Yes, the chiller line uses CO₂ to push the beer through. We don't include CO₂ in the standard package — most customers source it locally or from a brewery alongside their kegs. We can supply it as an add-on if you'd prefer.
Pallet courier slots are typically booked 2–3 working days in advance. Last-minute bookings within 48 hours aren't guaranteed — drop us a message and we'll do our best.
Wedding names, business logos, or full-colour custom designs on the pallet crate and bar panel. A few weeks' lead time, separate quote — drop us a line.
