What happens if plans change โ yours or ours.

A deposit secures your date and is set against the total cost of your booking. Unless stated otherwise in your booking confirmation, the booking deposit is non-refundable, because once a date is held we turn other work away for it. The Bar in a Box security deposit is separate and fully refundable โ see clause 5.
Cancellations must be made in writing to info@vivabarhire.co.uk. The balance position depends on how much notice you give before the event date:
Wherever possible we will try to offer a date change instead of a cancellation โ see clause 4.
If we have to cancel for any reason within our control, you will receive a full refund of everything paid, including the booking deposit. Where a cancellation is caused by events outside our reasonable control (clause 9 of our Terms), we will work with you to reschedule and, where rescheduling isn't possible, refund all sums paid for services not provided.
If you need to move your date, contact us as early as possible. Where we have availability for your new date we will transfer your booking and deposit at no extra charge, subject to any difference in seasonal pricing. Date changes requested at short notice may be treated as a cancellation if we cannot re-allocate the original date.
The refundable security deposit taken with a Bar in a Box hire is returned in full once the equipment has been collected and checked, normally within 7 working days. We may retain some or all of it only to cover the reasonable cost of loss, or damage beyond fair wear and tear, and we'll explain any deduction.
Bars built to your specification and any bespoke printed panels are made to order. As bespoke goods, they are not eligible for change-of-mind cancellation once production has begun. This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If something we supply is faulty, not as described, or the service falls short of what was agreed, contact us promptly and we will put it right โ by repair, re-performance, or a refund as appropriate. Consumers' statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything in this policy.
Approved refunds are made by the original payment method, normally within 14 days of us agreeing the refund.
