Bar in a Box arrives fully set up โ you just wheel it off the box and pour. Dry Hire means we deliver, set up, and collect the bar, but you supply the drinks and someone to pour. Staffed Bar is fully managed โ our trained bartenders, stocked bar, and bespoke menu, run end to end. Most consumers land on Dry Hire.
Yes. We fabricate and brand bars in our own workshop and sell them outright from ยฃ2,999 plus delivery, with the full professional dispense system built in. All four bars in our range are available to buy. See the Buy a Bar page for what's included.
Yes โ we hold public liability insurance, and we can provide details for your venue if they ask for them. Many venues request this in advance; just let us know and we'll sort it.
Within 24 hours of us having your event details. The quote is fixed before you book โ what you're quoted is what you pay, with no estimate that creeps up later.
Yes. We quote to your specific event โ guest numbers, hours, bar, taps, add-ons, location โ and that price is held. No surprise line items on the invoice. If you change the brief, we re-quote and confirm before anything changes.
The earlier the better, especially for summer weekends and December โ those dates fill up fast. That said, it's always worth asking about short-notice dates; we'll tell you straight if we can cover it.
Yes โ we invoice against a PO on request, which is standard for agency and larger company bookings. We can send a proforma for procurement approval before the booking is confirmed.
Deposit and cancellation terms are confirmed in writing with your quote, so everything is clear before you commit. Full details are set out on our Refunds page.
We deliver and set up before guests arrive โ usually two to four hours before service, depending on venue access. Collection is the next day for dry hire, or at the end of the night where the venue requires it. Extra hire days are charged per day and confirmed in the quote.
We've seen all of it. Our bars are wheeled and break down into manageable sections. Tell us about the access upfront and we'll plan around it. For really tight access, Bar in a Box arrives by pallet and is far easier to manoeuvre.
Yes โ we deal directly with your venue or planner on access, timings and power. You don't need to project-manage it or pass messages back and forth.
A flat space for the bar and a power supply within reach. We confirm the exact requirements when we quote so there are no surprises on the day.
The drinks (kegs, bottles, mixers, ice), a dispense gas cylinder โ CO2 or 60/40 mixed gas to suit your kegs โ and someone to pour. We handle everything bar-side: delivery, setup, taps configured and tested, and collection.
Not on standard dry hire โ you provide the person pouring. If you want trained bartenders, that's the Staffed Bar option, or we can add pour-staff onto a dry hire booking. Just ask and we'll quote it.
Up to four working taps configured to your event on the hire bars. Tell us what you're pouring and we'll recommend the right configuration. Tap upgrades are priced per configuration and confirmed in your quote.
Yes. A staffed bar is fully stocked โ we supply and chill everything, built around the menu we agree with you. If you'd rather supply your own drinks and just have our staff pour them, we can quote it that way instead.
Yes โ we run our own cashless card system, so a staffed bar can be a paid cash bar, a free host bar, or a tab up to a limit you set. Guests tap to pay, with no cash handling needed.
Always. A sober and low-ABV menu is included on every staffed bar as standard โ proper mocktails and alcohol-free options made to order, not an afterthought.
Yes โ it's one of the most common briefs we work to. You build the bar, we install T-bar tap towers up to 12-tap, insulated python up to 50m, the cellar and the gas. The bar still looks like yours; the pour is ours.
Yes โ up to 100+ taps and dispense points across a site, mixing dispense-only builds, our own bars, and self-contained cocktail cellars across different zones. One production contact, one invoice. We were the bar suppliers for Ibiza Global Radio Festival in 2024 and 2025.
Yes. Multi-bar bookings and recurring festival contracts (multi-year, multi-event) are priced separately โ talk to us about the site and we'll work out the right arrangement.
Yes โ it's built in, not an add-on. Integral remote chiller, single-font or T-bar dispense, keg connectors, gas regulators, insulated pipework, a line cleaning system, flow controls, and all fixtures and fittings. You don't source or fit anything.
Fully. We fabricate the bars and print the branding in our own workshop, so it can be any size, any shape, any design. The Classic is the usual choice because the front and side panels carry your branding across the whole bar.
Three things: fill the cooler with water, connect a keg, and connect a gas bottle (CO2 or 60/40 mixed gas). No install or specialist setup โ it's tested before it ships so it works out of the gate.
